Adding Notes

You can add a note to any contact, case, or deal in Highrise. Notes added to a contact can also be added to a case or deal.

Adding notes about contacts

When viewing a contacts' page, click the  Add a note about... tab or place your cursor in the compose note box.

Type your note and click the  Add note button.

Once added, the note will appear on the contact's page and in your Latest Activity feed. The date added and the person who add the note will both be indicated.

Additional options

When adding a note to a contact, you can also:

  • Upload files or attachments
  • File the note to a case or deal
  • Choose who can see the note
  • Adjust when the note happened (post date notes)
  • Email the note to members of your team

View these options by clicking the  Show options link under the note.

Adding a note to a case

When viewing a case, place your cursor in the compose note box. You have the same options to attach files, change permissions or when the note happened, and share the note with members of your team.

Adding a note to a deal

When viewing a deal, place your cursor in the compose note box. You have the same options to attach files, change permissions or when the note happened, and share the note with members of your team.

Currently you can only add notes to a contact, case, or deal one at a time. Adding a note to multiple contacts, cases, or deals at once isn't supported at this time.
