Getting Email Into Highrise
There are two ways to bring email communication into Highrise by using your dropbox address.
- Manually forwarding in emails
- Autoforwarding emails
What is a dropbox address?
Dropbox addresses (not to be confused with Dropbox the company) are magic addresses used to send email into a Highrise account. Every user has their own unique dropbox addresses.
Dropbox addresses can be used with any email client, like Outlook, Apple Mail, or Gmail.
How do you find your dropbox address?
Find your dropbox address by navigating to the My Info
section of your account.
If you’re an admin or a user, this link will be under the Settings
section in the right corner of the account. The Account Owner will find this link under the Account & settings
section in the right corner of the account.
Now click on the Email dropbox
link to see your personal dropbox address.
Manual Forwarding
If you prefer to forward only select emails into Highrise or if you're having trouble with autoforwarding, you can use your dropbox address to manually send emails in.
Each user can Blind-Carbon-Copy (BCC) or forward emails to their dropbox address. Your dropbox address can be used with any email client, including Outlook, Apple Mail, and Gmail.

Autoforwarding
You can use your dropbox address to set up autoforwarding if you're using G Suite/Gmail, Office 365, or your own email server.
This automatically sends incoming emails into your Highrise account. Here is how to set up autoforwarding:
